A contemporary design intervention in harmony with a historic district.

The Distillery Historic District is the largest collections of Victorian-era industrial buildings in Canada, repurposed into a place where people live, work, and play. A grade separation was necessary to retrofit the Case Goods Warehouse, which was achieved with a long ramping stairway with a industrial inspired planting screen.
